Sym key
Press it in the edit interface to input a symbol.
a key(2): Press it to switch between input methods.
Alt:Press it in the edit interface to switch to symbol input on the keypad.
Number keys, letters, * key and # key
Press number keys 1 through 9 in input or edit state to input numbers and characters; or press a number
key after entering a menu to choose the corresponding menu item; or hold any of number keys 2 through 9
for over two seconds in standby state to fast dial the corresponding telephone number in the speed-dial
number list (need to set in advance).
Note: Holding number key 1 on standby will call the voice mailbox service center. The voice mailbox
center number, however, must be preset.
Press letter keys in the edit interface to input corresponding letters.
The # key and the * key represent different functions in different states or different function menus.
Hold the # key up to 2s in standby state to activate or deactivate the silent mode.
Press and hold the * key up for 2s to input "+" in standby interface. When the symbol "+" appears,
press the * key quickly to input "P" or "W". "P" and "W" are used for calling the extension; "+" are used for
dialing an international call.
Note: The difference between characters "W" and "P" is that "P" means pausing three seconds and then
sending the DTMF whereas a window pops up after "W" inputting, asking you whether to send the DTMF.
