1.4 Functions of Keys
The mobile phone provides the following keys:
 Dial key
In standby interface, press it can access dial interface, there, you can input a phone number and press this
key to originate a call; or press it to receive an incoming call.
 End key
Press it to end a call being dialed or end an ongoing call.
 OK key
Press it to confirm a selection.
 Power key
Power key situates at the top of the phone. While using the phone, you can press this key to lock screen;
if you press and hold this key, a phone-options dialog would pop out. Here, you can select to adjust the
phone to silent mode/airplane mode or to power off it.
 Home, Option, Back and search key
They are four keys which situate just below the screen.
¾ Home key: press it to open home screen. If you’re viewing the left or right extended Home screen, press
it can enter the central screen; press and hold this key can open the most recently used applications
screen;
¾ Menu key: press this key to access options of a selected functions;
¾ Back key: press this key to return to the previous screen;
¾ Search key: On the Home screen, press it can open Google search for searching your phone and the web.
In many applications, press it can open a search box for searching within the application.
