aware,electricalitemssuchasrefrigeratorsmaycauseavoltagedropattimes
whiletheAlarmisactive(sayinthemiddleofthenight).Thisisaprimeexampleof
whentodisablethemillivoltsensor.
Option13–adjustshocksensorsensitivity
ThisadjuststheShockSensorsensitivityviatheremote.TheSirenwillchirpthe
currentlyprogrammedshocksensorsensitivity(1‐5).Level5=mostsensitive
andlevel1=leastsensitive.
Pressthetopbuttontogotothenextlevel.Oncelevel5isexceeded,level1is
againselected.
Oncethelevelisselected,youdonotneedtopresstheremote.Thex5willchirp
6timesquicklytoindicateithasprogrammedthenewlevelintotheSiren
module.
ProgramminganewRemoteControl
Fornormaloperation,allRemoteControlsmustbepairedwiththeAlarm.To
pairanewRemoteControl,theAlarmmustbeputinto“pairingmode”first(see
option7).SecondlythenewRemoteControlmustbeputinto“pairingmode”
(seeoption6).Oncebothdeviceshavebeenset,thepairingtakesplace
automatically.

PairingSensors
AswithRemoteControls,forsensorstofunctionwiththePJDX5‐900,theymust
bepairedwiththeAlarm.
Step1‐Sirens
AlwayssettheSireninto“pairingmode”firstusingoption7.TheSirenwill
remainin“pairingmode”for1minute,waitingforasignalfromthenewdevice.
ThebluestatusLEDattachedtotheSirenwillflashrapidlywhilein“pairing
mode”.
