aileron trim tabs.
Figure 66: Trim Tab Controls
ELEVATOR TRIM TAB CONTROL WHEEL. The elevator trim tab control wheel is mounted in a
vertical plane on the left console and is connected to the elevator trim tabs by dual cables. Rolling
the wheel forward in the direction of the NH arrow makes the aircraft nose-heavy. Rolling the wheel
in the direction of the TH arrow causes a tail-heavy condition.
RUDDER TRIM TAB CONTROL KNOB. The rudder trim tab control knob is located horizontally on
the left console and is marked "R" (right) and "L" (left) with indicating arrows. A geared pointer
indicates the number of degrees the trim tab is moved.
AILERON TRIM TAB CONTROL KNOB. The aileron trim tab control knob is located horizontally on
the left console and is marked "R" (right) and "L" (left) with indicating arrows. A geared pointer
indicates the number of degrees the trim tab on the left aileron is moved (the trim tab on the right
aileron is ground-adjustable).
