Front Switch Panel

The front switch panel includes a number of weapons control switches, as well as the Ignition

Selector switch, Cockpit Lights switch, and the Horn Silence button.

1. IGNITION SELECTOR SWITCH. The Ignition Selector switch controls the magnetos used to

start the engine and has four possible positions: OFF, R (right), L (left), and BOTH.

 OFF. The magnetos are turned off.

 R. The right magneto is used to start the engine.

 L. The left magneto is used to start the engine.

 BOTH. Both magnetos are used to start the engine.

Normally both magnetos are used to start the engine.
