Chapter 2: System Requirement and Installation
Renewing IP Address on Client PC
After the ADSL Router gets on line, there is a chance that your PC does not renew
its IP address and thus causes the PC not able to access the Internet. To solve this
problem, please follow the procedures below to renew PC’s IP address.
For Windows 98/ME
1. Select Run from the Start menu.
2. Type winipcfg in the text box and
click OK.
3. When the figure below appears,
click Release to let go of the
address and then click the Renew
button to obtain a new IP address.
For Windows NT/2000/XP
1. Open the Start menu, and click
Run... on this menu.
