HOW TO USE YOUR SCOOTER
E
CAUTION: Use caution when folding and unfolding your scooter to avoid pinching
your fingers.
WARNING: Always make sure the scooter folding mechanism is properly locked
before riding. Failure to do so could cause the scooter to fold suddenly, resulting in a loss of
control and serious injury or death.
WARNING: Always wear a helmet and
other safety gear.
1. BEFORE EACH RIDE
Verify that the scooter is properly
unfolded and locked and is adjusted for
the child’s size.
Verify the scooter is working properly.
Reread and follow all safety warnings in
this instructional manual.
2. RIDING THE SCOOTER
Place your foot on the footboard of the
scooter (usually the left foot for the right
handed) and use your other foot to propel
the scooter.
To stop the scooter, apply the brake by
pressing downward on the rear fender
with the heel of your shoe.
3. FOLDING THE SCOOTER
Turn scooter sideways for easier folding
(Figure 8).
Loosen the locking lever to release the
locking mechanism.
Pull and keep pulling the release button,
then lower the front end of the scooter. You
can stop pulling the release button when
the front end of the scooter can go down.
Fold the front end back and parallel with
the wheel section of the scooter until
you hear a “click” sound. This means the
scooter is folded securely and may be
picked up and transported.
Close the locking lever.
