3.3.1 LANGUAGE
The camera supports multi-language OSD operation; the available languages
include English, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian,
Polish, Russian, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Turkish. You can
straight set a wanted language on the MAIN PAGE 1, as shown below. As you
select a language with the arrow keys, the OSD will automatically change to the
language you selected. The default language is <ENGLISH>.
3.3.2 DEFAULT CAMERA
The DEFAULT CAMERA option is used to restore some camera settings back to
default setting. The settings that are affected include Backlight, Focus, AE,
WBC, Aperture, Zoom Speed and Digital Zoom. Once any one of the items is
modified, the setting will become <OFF> automatically. Select <ON> for this
item to recall the mentioned camera parameters.
NOTE: Zoom Speed and Digital Zoom will be restored to factory defaults
only in F and U models.
3.3.3 BACKLIGHT
The Backlight compensation function prevents the center object from being too
dark in surroundings where excessive light is behind the object.
G/V/T/S3/S4/S5/S6 Model:
Select <ON> to activate the function; the center object will be brightened in
contrast to the edge of the picture (where a backlight would be most likely
located).
