TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
Flare-ups. Meat contains excessive
amounts of fat.
Cooking temperature is too
high.
Grease build-up.
Trim the appropriate amount of fat
before cooking.
Lower the temperature as needed.
Clean the smoker, according to the
instructions.
Persistent grease
re.
Too much build-up on
grease drip tray and/or
grease cup.
Turn off the smoker and carefully open
the upper door and carefully remove
the bottom drawer to allow the re to
burn out.
DO NOT use water to extinguish the
re. Personal injury my result. Allow
the smoker to completely cool before
cleaning the tray and cup.
Control Panel
Error Code (E1,
E2, E3 or E4).
Circuit failure in rebox temp
sensor or meat probe temp
sensor.
