TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION

• LEr - Low Temperature Alarm
Grill temperature fell below
120° for more than 20 minutes.
• HEr - High Temperature Alarm
Grill temperature reaches more
than 550°. The Smoker Has
Overheated, Possibly Due
To Grease Fire Or Excessive
Pellets Inside Fire pot.
• Er 1 - Temperature Probe Not
Properly Connected
• Er 2 - Temperature dial
security alarm.
• LEr - This error will not affect the unit. Fire
pot re is at risk of going out. Check the
hopper for any obstructions. Check the
re pot for ash build up and follow the
Care and Maintenance instructions for
safely removing ash. Check the internal
temperature gauge/probe and follow the
Care and Maintenance instructions for
cleaning. Ensure that air is owing through
the re pot and follow the Cooking System
Check if air ow is weak. Conrm that the
auger is rotating and there is no blockage in
the auger tube. Avoid opening the lid on a
frequent basis.
• HEr - This error will not affect the unit. Turn
the temperature control dial to "Shut Down
Cycle" and allow the fan to blow until the
cycle is complete. If a grease re occurs,
close the lid and allow the re burn out.
Allow the unit to completely cool before
turning back on.
• Er1 - Ensure temperature probe is properly
connected to the controller board.
• Er2 - Turn the temperature control dial to
"Shut Down Cycle" and allow the fan to blow
until the cycle is complete. Once the shut-
down cycle is complete turn the unit on and
set to the desired temperature . If problem
persists, contact Customer Service for
additional support.
