DANGER
CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD. Burning charcoal inside can kill you. It gives off carbon
monoxide, which has no odor. NEVER burn charcoal inside homes, vehicles or tents.

WARNING: DO NOT use wood as a fuel source on this product.
Metal parts of the grill may be very hot while grilling. Always wear a heat-resistant glove
when operating dampers.
• Most surfaces on this grill are hot when in use. Use extreme caution. Keep others away
from grill.
• Always wear protective clothing to prevent injury.
• Keep children and pets away.
• DO NOT move grill during operation.
• Never substitute gasoline, kerosene or alcohol for charcoal starter. In some states, the use
ofcharcoalstarterisprohibitedbylaw.Inthiscase,parafn-basedstartercubescanbe
substitutedforcharcoalstarter.Neverusecharcoalstarteruidwithanelectricstarter.
Alwayslighttherewiththegrilllidopen.Keeplidopenuntilbriquettesarefullylit.
After the grill has cooled down completely, it can be folded to allow the ashes to be easily dumped.

Note: The grate is coated with porcelain which is a fragile coating. Handle with care to avoid damage.
DO NOT cool the grate in cold water while it is still hot or the coating may crack. Let the grate cool off by
itself.
Do not build too large a re. We recommend starting a re with no more than 3 lbs. of charcoal
(approximately 56 briquettes) and adding more as needed during cooking. After allowing the re to burn
down, place the cooking grate in the grill using heat-resistant gloves.
WARNING: NEVER start a fire and use the grill in the folded position.
