Applications
This chapter describes how to use your LabelWriter with other application programs.
Add-In for Microsoft Word
DYMO Label Software includes an add-in program that enables you to quickly print mailing labels from a
Microsoft Word document. You access the add-in using a tool the LabelWriter software installs on the Word
toolbar. The add-in works with Microsoft Word 97, 2000, and XP for Windows and Microsoft Word 98 and
2001 for Macintosh.
Installing the Word Add-In
When you select Add-In for Microsoft Word during installation of DYMO Label Software, the Word Add-in is
automatically installed as well. You will see a small LabelWriter button in the main toolbar of Microsoft
templates.
List File Directory. Specifies the directory in which you want to store List Manager address and data lists.
Clipart Directory. Specifies the directory in which you want to store graphics.
Add-Ins Folder. (Macintosh) Specifies the folder in which you want to store add-in scripts.
Word.
If you don’t see this button, you will need to reinstall the DYMO Label Software making sure that the Add-In
for Microsoft Word box is checked.
