Printing the Label
Now that you have customized the label, you are ready to print. Before you print the label, make sure:
The LabelWriter printer is connected to your computer and turned on.
You have properly loaded shipping labels in the printer.
To print the label
1. Enter the number of copies of this label to print in the Copies box on the Main toolbar.
2. Click on the Main toolbar.
Saving the Label as a Template
Now that you have created your shipping label, you can save it as a label template.
To save the label as a label template
1. Click on the Main toolbar.
2. Type a new name for the file and save it.
(Windows) Select the LabelWriter Templates (*.LWT) file type before saving.
Notice that your new label template is added to the top of the templates list as the most recently used template
and also alphabetically in the template list below.
To use a template file you created, choose it from the list of templates and the label template is displayed with
all the information you placed on the template.
To access your label templates from the Label Templates list, you must store them in the Label Files
directory. A default Label Files directory is created for you, under the DYMO Label installation
directory, when you first install the software.

Now that you can open, edit, print, and save a shipping label, you are ready to use and/or modify most other
label templates.
