Optispec Portable Microscope
The ME5000 Series portable microscope builds upon Optispec® long tradition of top quality
inspection equipment specifically designed for the fiber optic industry. By utilizing either our
dovetail or multi-adapter turret interface, the ME5000 enables the user to inspect a variety of
connectors for imperfections such as scratches, chips, dirt or moisture on the fiber and
ferrule.
With a combination of features that exceed those of other microscopes in its class, the ME5000
provides the operator with complete control over the image including focus, centering and
light intensity adjustments. Using high quality optics, the ME5000 represents the top of the
Optispec® line of portable microscopes for inspecting connectors in the field.
