Miscellaneous
In detail the window to configure the JPEG2000 encoding provides the
following settings items:
Colorspace
Interpretation
This setting determines the color profile and inter-
pretation of RGB video material:
– When converting from RGB to another color
space (material in timeline is RGB, finalized
output format is set to another color space), it
sets the color profile of the source material, i.e.
of the material in bin and timeline.
– When converting from another color space to
RGB (material in timeline is in another color
space, finalized output format is set to RGB), it
sets the profile of the target material, i.e. of the
material to be finalized and rendered.
– When converting from RGB to RGB (1:1 con-
version) or when no RGB material is involved in
the color space conversion, this setting has no
effect.
The timeline material is handled clip-wise,
meaning each clip in the timeline is evalu-
ated separately and converted with re-
gard to its color space set in the bin
properties.
The remaining settings items are identical to the ones displayed at the
JPEG2000 configuration step. For further information about them see
section “Compression” on page 3-9.
