To verify the installation using Windows Device Manager
1. Start the Device Manager. Alternatives are:
Click Start, click Run, and then type devmgmt.msc, or
Right-click My Computer, click Manage, and then click Device Manager, or
Right-click My Computer, click Properties, click the Hardware tab, and then
click Device Manager, or
Type the following command at a command prompt: start devmgmt.msc
2. Expand the Matrox Audio/Video devices node to see the devices installed.

14.2 Supported Codecs
The Matrox X.mio2 Plus 24/6000 card, which can play the SD codecs, except D10/
D12, is Vizrt's standard card. This model can be upgraded to 8500 class by a license
upgrade.
Note: The 8500 class is only available for X.Mio2 and X.Mio2 Plus, not for X.Mio.
The 8000 class upgrade is available for X.Mio.
The Matrox X.mio, X.mio2 and X.mio2 Plus cards support a selection of different codecs
for both SD and HD.
The Matrox codecs use the Matrox card itself as a kind of licence dongle, therefore
certain codecs require certain card classes as follows (these classes apply to x.mio,
x.mio2 and x.mio2 Plus):
6000 class (SD codecs only. No D10)
8000 class (same as 6000 + HD codecs and D10, D12)
8500 class (same as 8000 + Capable of Apple ProRes playback)
Note: This list of codecs is also relevant to the Matrox X.Open dongle.
For DSX.LE3 card the classes are:
100 class (no codecs)
