Licensing Nucoda and Phoenix 2014 Install Manual
Licensing
A license is required to run the application. You can request this by sending an email to
the Digital Vision licensing department :
[e-mail]
Include the following information :
● System MAC address (see below)
● Company name
● Application to license
When received, the license string should be placed in the following file :
Product License File
Nucoda :
C:\Nucoda\license\license.flic
Phoenix :
C:\Phoenix\license\license.flic
Each license string should be placed on a single line in the license file and you should
only have a single active license file with a .flic extension in this folder.
Environment
An environment variable is set to refer to the folder containing the license file license.flic.
By default this is set to as shown below (for each application installed) :

NUCODA_LICENSE_DIR C:\Nucoda\license\
PHOENIX_LICENSE_DIR C:\Phoenix\license\
System MAC Address
To find your system MAC address :
● Install the software
● Open a CMD window :
Start/Run - cmd
● Change to the folder (depending on installed product) :
cd C:\Nucoda\utilities\machine_id\ or
cd C:\Phoenix\utilities\machine_id\
● Run the machine_id program by typing :
machine_id
