Important Notes

● NOTE 1: HyperThreading in the BIOS of the Z800 can be enabled now. If it is enabled,

upgrade Avid Codec Pack to version 2.3.7, which is downloadable from the Colorfront

download website (AvidCodecsLESetup2.3.7.zip)

● NOTE 2: Mac OS X 10.7 is supported

● NOTE 3: Upgrade Red Rocket driver and firmware to version 1.4.19 (driver), and to

version 1.1.16.5 (firmware)

● NOTE 4: If formerly, manually created startup.xmls want to be used, then add

“ForceStartupXML” parameter to the startup.xml files as follows:

● NOTE 5: Projects created with the 2012 Winter Release may not work properly when

opened with an older OSD version, such as the 2011 Summer Release.

● NOTE 6: If there is a separate database server make sure to update the (xampp) DB

scripts as well when upgrading.
