4. FUNCTIONS OVERVIEW
OVER-D (1) – adjusts the amount of distortion.
LEVEL (2) - controls the overall eect volume, so you can match the distortion level to the clean volume when switching the
eect on and o, or set the amount of boost you want the pedal to cause.
TONE 1 (3) - controls the frequencies from 200 Hz to 2.5 kHz. Turning this knob up will result in brighter distortion tone; turning
it down will make the distortion darker.
TONE 2 (4) - cuts from 0 to - 20dB at 800 Hz. This control removes mids from your distortion tone.
ON/OFF SWITCH* (5) – turns the eect on and o; the LED indicator illuminates when the eect is on.
*TRUE BYPASS - When the pedal’s controls are ‘o’, your signal goes directly from the input jack to the output jack
without any degradation of audio quality
5. CONNECTIONS
1/4” INPUT JACK (6) - (CONNECTS TO YOUR INSTRUMENT) As with any pedal, make sure your amp is o and the volume is
turned down before making connections.
1/4” OUTPUT JACK (7) - (CONNECTS TO YOUR AMPLIFIER)
DC IN (8) - External power supply connection (9-12V DC PSU).
STANDARD 9 V BATTERY COMPARTMENT (9) - Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the two screws to access the 9 V battery
compartment on the bottom side of the pedal.
