QUESTION ANSWER
HOW DO I AVOID CLOGGING THE
NOZZLE?
Place nozzle directly on rebrick and rub to move the large particles out of the way, maintain air
ow and to crush larger particles.
Be sure the nozzle is not in backwards. Put the large end in the hose and the crimped end out.
WHY IS THERE POOR SUCTION?
Filter may be coated. Clean lter. See instructions on Filter Cleaning above.
Check vacuum source lter (house vacuum).
Clogged nozzle/hose. See clogged nozzle above.
WHY IS THE HOSE HOT?
Cleaning TOO WARM of ash. Let ash cool down. NEVER use gloves to compensate for a HOT
hose.
Do not use gloves when vacuuming ash.
DUST ESCAPING
Check lter for holes, and if necessary replace. (#A1053).
Check all 3 latches on the spark arrester are locked in place.
Check that hoses are secure. Re-secure hose in lid.

Insert HEPA lter into spark
arrester.
Install HEPA lter and spark
arrester to underside of lid.
Twist clock-wise ensuring all 3
latches “lock” into place.
Push BOBCAT metal
hose into opening
on outter-edge of lid
until secure.
Insert brush and crevice tool into storage
holes on either side at back of lid. Press
pellet stove cleaning hose to hose tting
on front left side. Slide adaptor on
storage hole on front right of lid.
To use accessories,
press the adaptor
on the metal hose or
metal wand.

To empty canister, remove
BOBCAT lid by pulling the
tabs away from canister
and lift.

Push home vacuum hose into
opening in middle of lid until
secure.
FILTER CLEANING STEPS
1.
Keep BOBCAT lid on canis-
ter while cleaning lter. Lift
and release the instant lter
cleaning handle 5 times.
3.
Use both hands and press
rmly to attach lid to
canister.
7.
Fit metal wand
securely into metal
hose.
