11. STORAGE
If the chain saw isn’t going to be used for a long time, maintain as follows:
1) Remove the fuel, the chain oil in the tank, and in the carburetor.
2) Take off the spark plug, add a small amount of oil down the spark plug hole
into the cylinder, and pull the starter 2~3 times to move the piston to the top
dead center, then replace the spark plug.
3) Use a soft cloth with engine oil to clean the surface of the engine, put the
engine to the dry and ventilated place for the next use.
