Move choke lever to ON
Adjust the throttle lever
The choke lever is located above the gas valve. Move the
choke lever to the left-hand side to the “ON” position to
start. Please note that if the engine is hot, turning the choke
on is unnecessary.
The throttle lever is located above and to the right of the
choke lever. Adjust the throttle lever to the low speed
position.

Turn key switch to ON
Turn the engine key switch to the “ON” position to allow the
engine to start.

Move fuel valve to ON
The gas valve is located above the carburetor bowl. Move
the gasoline fuel valve lever all the way to the right-hand
position to allow gasoline to ow to the engine carburetor.
