Battery Charging

The battery is rated at 30 .0Ah (ampere hours). Charging current should equal 10% of the battery’s ampere hour rating.

1. Connec t the battery charger followi ng the manufacturer’s in structions.

2. Charge the battery.

3. Clean the outsid e of the battery and the battery compartment with a solution of baking soda and water.

Battery Installation

1. Install the battery into the generator.

2. Connect the battery pos itive (+) cable to the battery positive (+) terminal first, and tighten t he bolt secure ly.

3. Slide th e battery boot over the positive (+) cable and term inal.

4. Connect the battery n egative (-) cable to t he battery negati ve (-) terminal, and tig hten the bolt securely.
