Operating Guide

Routine maintenance of the air cleaner helps maintain proper airow to the carburetor. Check

that the air cleaner is free of excessive dirt after every use.

Note: Improper maintenance may cause less air to enter the engine or dirty air to enter the

engine causing overheating and engine wear.

Cleaning the air cleaner

Open lter housing

Remove lter cover

Remove the element

Remove the 4 bolts on the right side of generator and remove

the cover to expose the air lter.

Unscrew the wingnut and remove the air cleaner cover.

Remove the retaining nut and inspect the air lter element.

If dirty dispose of the element and replace with OEM

replacement parts.
