5.8.2 Lubricating
Lubricate the areas listed below after the time specified in the table at the
latest.
Use the DA-10 lubricant or an equivalent oil conforming to the following
specifications:
• Viscosity at 40° C: 10 mm²/s
• Flash point: 150° C
DA-10 can be obtained from DÜRKOPP ADLER AG sales offices.

Check the oil level in the oil sump

running has fallen below the mid point
of the inspection glass, top up with oil
(DA-10).
Check the oil supply at the inspection

Cutting head
Check the oil level in the reservoir

Check the oil level in the plastic
container of the shearing head
8 There must always be oil in the
reservoir. Top up oil with grade DA-10
Check the oil flow rate to the head 500 Have this checked by a mechanic

Lubricate the planet wheel
40 Have this done by a mechanic
Risk of injuries due to contact with oil.
Contact with oil can cause irritation, rashes,
allergies or skin injuries.
ALWAYS avoid long-term contact with oil.
ALWAYS thoroughly wash the affected areas
if contact with oil occurs.
WARNING
Danger to the environment
The handling and disposal of mineral oils is subject
to legally prescribed regulations.
Deliver the old oil to an authorized collection point.
Protect your environment, by taking care not to
spill any oil.
