Swing the cutting
head in
To swing the cutter in:
1. Pull the magnetic roller shaft (1) downwards completely.
2. Turn the guide piece (2) clockwise against the force of the counterweight.
3. Swing the cutter into the turntable.
When doing so, note:
• The guide piece (2) must be pressed firmly against the fabric support
surface.
• The switching flag (3) must be in front of the magnetic roller.
4. Push the magnetic roller shaft (1) up.
5.8 Maintenance
The maintenance works must be performed in accordance with the
prescribed maintenance intervals.
Shorter maintenance intervals are possible when working with materials
that generate a lot of lint.
5.8.1 Cleaning and inspection
Caution: Risk of injury!
Switch off the main switch before maintenance
works on the sewing unit.
The maintenance works must be performed after
the number of operating hours listed in the column
Hours.
WARNING
Risk of injury from the needle point
and moving parts.
Only perform maintenance works on the sewing
unit when it is switched off.
