5.2 Threading the looper thread

To thread the looper thread:
1. Place the spool of thread on the thread reel holder.
2. Guide the thread alternately through the guide eyelets of the take-up arm.
3. Feed the thread through the thread tensioner (1) and thread guide plate (2).
4. Remove cover plate (3).
5. Lift the thread down-holder (4) from its latching. For this purpose, press
the spring (7) to the back.
6. Pull thread through the holes (5) and (6).
7. Place thread in front of the wire of the looper thread monitor.
8. Pull thread through the looper holes.
9. Snap the thread down-holder (4) shut.
10.Insert the cover plate (3).
Caution: Risk of injury!
Switch off the main switch before threading.
