4.1 Elements on the sewing head

Number Designation Function

1 Knurled screw Setting the sewing foot pressure

2 Thread regulator To set the correct needle thread quantity

3 Thread monitor Reports a needle thread break

4 Needle 971-B-1 system

5 Cover plate Thread take-up cover, remove to thread.

6 Flap Covers the looper area, open out to thread.

7 Thread monitor Reports looper thread break

8 Oil level sight Displays oil level in the oil sump

9 LEDs Display which thread monitor is signaling an error.

10 Guide plate Thread guide for looper thread

11 Motor Drive motor for the sewing head

12 Rotary knob Adjusts the looper thread tension
