To transfer a key function:
1. Turn all screws to their original position (3) so that the slots
are horizontal.
2. Turn the screw under the desired key 90° so that the slot is
vertical (2).
5.15Thread cutting and securing against
unraveling
Classic machines have a cutter underneath the needle plate for
cutting both threads when the seam is finished. Thread ends no
longer have to be held when starting a new seam. Sewing condi-
tions must be adjusted accordingly in order to do this.
