Manual seam bar tacking:
1. Move stitch regulator (5) to the bottom.
The machine feeds the material in reverse as long as the
regulator is depressed.
Partially depressing the stitch regulator (5) shortens the stitch
length in proportion to the distance of the regulator from its middle
position.
In middle position, feed is stopped completely.
In the lower end position, the machine sews in reverse with the
stitch length is selected using the adjusting wheels.
Automatic seam bar tacking:
Only Classic machines come with semi-automatic and automatic
seam bar tacking. If desired, Eco machines can also be retrofitted.
Semi-automatic seam bar tacking:
1. Press the key (1) on the machine keypad.
The machine feeds the material in reverse as long as the key
is depressed.
Semi-automatic seam bar tacking with foot switch
1. Press foot switch (4) forward with toes.
The machine feeds the material in reverse as long as the
foot switch is depressed.
Automatic seam bar tacking:
The machine's electronic control unit allows automatic seam bar
tacking to be activated. Read the Operating manual for the
eco/classic DAC control unit.
1. Enter seam bar tacking at seam start and seam end on the
control panel (2).
2. Press operating pedal (3) down with toes.
Machine automatically sews a bar tack at the start of the
seam.
