9.2 Oil lubrication

For lubricating the sewing unit, use only lubrication oil DA 10 or oil of

equivalent quality with the following specifications:

• Viscosity at 40°C: 10 mm²/s

• Flash point: 150° C

DA 10 can be obtained from DÜRKOPP ADLER AG sales offices using

the following part number:

• 250 ml container: 9047 000011

• 1 liter container: 9047 000012

• 2 liter container: 9047 000013

• 5 liter container: 9047 000014

Skin injuries due to contact with oil.

Oil can cause a rash if it comes into contact with the skin.

Avoid any skin contact with the oil.

If oil gets on your skin, wash the affected skin areas thoroughly.

WARNING

Risk of environmental damage from oil.

Oil is a pollutant and must not enter the sewage system or the

soil.

Carefully collect old oil and dispose of oil and oil-contaminated

machine parts in the legally prescribed manner.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Machine damage possible due to incorrect oil level.

Too little or too much oil can cause damage to the machine.

Make sure that there is always sufficient oil in the reservoir.

Only use oil that complies with the data in the operating manual.
