5.10 Adjusting the hook thread tension

The looper thread tension is generated by the tension spring (1) and
adjusted via the adjustment screw (2).
To increase the tension:
1. Turn the adjusting screw (2) clockwise.
To reduce the tension:
1. Turn the adjusting screw (2) counterclockwise.
Risk of injury by the needle point or moving parts.
Switch off the sewing machine before adjusting the hook thread
tension.
