4.8 Winding the bobbin thread
The separate winder allows the hook thread to be wound while sewing or
independently of sewing.

1. Place the thread reel on the thread reel holder and guide the needle
thread through the hole in the guide on the unwinding bracket.
Important: The unwinding bracket must be parallel to the thread
stand.
2. Insert the thread in a wavelike manner through the two rear holes of
the thread guide plate (1): From to to bottom through the rear hole and
from bottom to top through the left hole.
3. Feed the thread from top to bottom through the thread guide
channel (2).
4. Guide the thread counterclockwise around the winding tensioner (3).
5. Insert the thread in a wavelike manner through the two remaining free
holes of the thread guide plate (1): From bottom to top through the rear
hole and from top to bottom through the front hole.
6. Feed the thread to the winder, clamp the thread behind the cutter (6)
and tear the thread off.
7. Plug an empty bobbin on the winding shaft (5) and turn clockwise until
it clicks into place.
