10. Maintenance
10.1 Cleaning and checking
Caution: Risk of injury !
Switchthemainswitchoff.
The maintenance of the sewing unit must only be carried out when the
machine is switched off.
Maintenance work has to be done after the intervals indicated in the
tables at the latest (see column “Operating hours”).
The processing of fluffy material may require shorter maintenance
intervals.
A c lean sewing unit protects from disturbances.

(e.g. with compressed air pistol)
Spots to be cleaned especially carefully:
- Underside of the throat plate
- Zone around hook 1
- Bobbin case
- Thread trimmer
- Zone around needle 2
