9. Sewing
Operating and function sequence w hen sew ing:
Sew ing operation Operation/ Explanation
Before the sew ing
start
Starting position - Pedal in resting position
Sewing unit stands idle
Needle and fabric clamp in position “up”.
- Feed material
Sew ing - Step the pedal forward.
The sewing unit works with the s et speed.
During the sew ing
cycle
Interrupt the
sewing operation - Step the pedal back.
The sewing unit stops.
The clamps remain in position “down”.
Continue the
sewing operation - Step the pedal forward again.
Finish the
sewing operation - Step the pedal back again.
