Sew ing motor
Clean fan grille 2.
(e.g. with an air blow gun)
Check condition and
tension of V-belt 1
Remove lint and pieces of thread from
air-intake openings.
It must be possible to depress the V-belt by
about 10 mm by pressing it with a finger at
its mid-point.

Pneumatic system
Check water level in
pressure regulator.
Clean filter
cartridge.
- Check the system for leaks.
The water level must not rise to the level of
the filter cartridge 3.
- After unscrewing the drain screw 5, the
water under pressure will flow out of
the water separator 4.
Dirt and condensation are separated out by
the filter cartridge 3.
- Disconnect the machine from the
compressed-air supply.
- Unscrew the drain screw 5.
Theremustbenopressureinthe
machine’s pneumatic system.
- Unscrew water separator 4.
- Unscrew filter cartridge 3.
Wash the filter shell and cartridge
with cleaning fluid (not solvent) and
blast clean.
- Re-assemble the maintenance unit.
