5.3.2 Needle thread threading on 2-needle machines
2-needle machines are equipped with a second tensioning screw
triangle for the 2nd needle thread. The threading procedure
corresponds to that for the 1st needle thread ( Section 5.3.1
Needle thread threading on 1-needle machines, Page 29).

1. Guide the threads through the guides and around the tension-
ing screws in such a way that the threads do not intersect.
2. First guide the left-hand needle thread through the left-hand
guide holes and around the left-hand tensioning screw
triangle (1).
3. First guide the left-hand needle thread through the right-hand
guide holes and around the right-hand tensioning screw
triangle (2).

4. For machines with a short thread cutter:
Insert the left needle thread through the left holes of the thread
guide above and below the thread clamp.
5. Insert the right needle thread through the right holes of the
thread guide above and below the thread clamp.
6. Slide threads from the left and right in the thread clamp, so
that the threads are held in the hooks of the thread clamp (see
figure page 31).
