6.3.3 Cleaning the filter element

Clean the filter element as follows:
1. Disconnect the machine from the compressed air supply.
2. Drain the water condensation ( p. 92).
3. Unscrew the water separator (2).
4. Unscrew the filter element (1).
5. Blow out the filter element (1) using a compressed air gun.
6. Wash out the filter tray using benzine.
NOTICE
Damage to the paintwork from solvent-based cleaners!
Solvent-based cleaners damage the filter.
Use only solvent-free substances for washing out the filter
tray.
