4.10 Locking the sewing foot in place in top
dead center
You can use the locking button (1) on the machine head to lock
the lifted sewing foot in place in top dead center.

To lock the sewing foot in place in top dead center:
1. Lift the sewing foot using the pedal ( p. 35).
2. Press the locking button.
3. Release the pedal.
 The
sewing foot is locked in place in top dead center.
You can remove the lock by lowering the sewing foot ( p. 35).
