3. Feed the thread from top to bottom through the thread
guide (8).
4. Feed the thread to the rear side of the thread guide (8) before
threadin
g it from rear to front through the lower hole

on the looper thread tensioner element (6).
6. Feed the thread counterclockwise around the looper thread
te
nsioner element (6).
Important
The thread must always be fed around the appropriate ten-
sion disk in such a way that it follows the longer path from
thread gui
de (7) to thread guide (5).
7. Feed the thread from top to bottom through the thread advanc-
ing device (4).
8. Insert the thread through the thread guide of the thread
ch
annel (3). Proceed by pulling the thread from the rear under
the covering plate of the thread channel.
9. Remove the cover plates to the right and left of the throat plate.
10. Lift the thread bobbin case retainer (9) from its latching.
11. Turn the handwheel to position D in such a way that the thread
t

ke-up disk (11) is adjusted accordingly.
12. Insert the thread from the right to the left through the holes (12)
of the lo
oper thread
guide.
