7.9 Carrying out a test run
When setup is complete, perform a test run to check the function-
ality of the machine.
To perform a test run:
1. Insert the power plug.
2. Thread needle thread ( p. 23).
3. Thread looper thread ( p. 25).
4. Switch on the machine.
5. Position the sewing material.
6. Start the sewing process at low speed and then continuously
increase
the speed.
7. Check that the seams conform to
the desired requirements.
If they are not, set the thread tension ( p. 31).
