5.13.3 Oil lubrication
Skin injuries due to contact with oil.
Oil can cause a rash if it comes into contact with
the skin.
Avoid any skin contact with the oil.
If oil gets on your skin, wash the affected area thor-
oughly.
WARNING
Risk of environmental damage from oil.
Oil is a pollutant and must not enter the sewage
system or the soil.
Collect waste oil carefully and dispose of it and oily
machine parts in accordance with the applicable
statutory regulations.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Machine damage possible due to incorrect oil level.
Too little or too much oil can cause damage to the machine.
Ensure that there is always sufficient oil in the relevant res-
ervoir.
ATTENTION

Using the wrong oil type can cause damage to the machine.
Only use oil that complies with the data in the operating
instructions.
ATTENTION
A lack of oil leads to premature wearing of moving parts
within the sewing machine
Check the oil level in the reservoir (4) and looper drive
housing (6) every 8 operating hours.
If the oil level is low, top up the oil reservoir.
