Symbols The following symbols indicate the type of danger to personnel:
Signal word Meaning
DANGER (with hazard symbol)
If ignored, death or serious injury will result
WARNING (with hazard symbol)
If ignored, death or serious injury can result
CAUTION (with hazard symbol)
If ignored, moderate or light injury can result
NOTICE (without hazard symbol)
Non-compliance may result in property damage
