to position sewing material
1. Press the foot pedal halfway back in pedal position -1:
The sewing foot is raised.
2. Push the material to be sewn into the initial position.
3. Release the foot pedal in pedal position 0:
The sewing foot lowers onto the material.
Start the seam
Without start bartack:
1. Activate the bartack toggle key ( page 51).
With start bartack:
2. Press the foot pedal forwards in pedal position +1:
The machine sews. The sewing speed increases the
further forward the pedal is pressed.
WHEN SEWING
Interrupt the seam
1. Release the foot pedal in pedal position 0:
The machine stops, needles and sewing foot are down.
Continue the seam
1. Press the foot pedal forwards in pedal position +1:
The machine continues to sew.
Sew a corner
1. Press the foot pedal halfway back in pedal position -1:
The machine stops with the needle lowered.
The sewing foot is raised.
2. Turn the material around the needle.
Sewing a multiple width without a DAC mini
1. Activate the multiple width key ( page 51).
The multiple width is sewn with the set value ( page 36).
2. Deactivate the multiple width key ( page 51).
Sewing continues without multiple width.
