8.2.6 Changing Parameters at the "Mechanic Level" and the "Special Level" with

the OC-TOP Control Panel

A change in the parameter values is e.g. necessary for the setting of the needle positions

(Chapter 8.2.7) and the setting of the machine-specific parameters (Chapter 8.2.9).

Preparation for activation of the "Mechanic Level (B)".

–

Turn the mains switch off.

–

Hold the 5 (P/M) and 6 (T/E) keys pressed and turn the mains switch on.

–

Release the 5 (P/M) and 6 (T/E) keys, the display shows an "*" (number 11)

between the program number (numbers 9 and 10) and the seam run

(numbers 12 and 13).

–

Sewing is possible.

Example

Activating the "Mechanic Level (B)"

Prerequisite:

Key 5 (P/M) is not lit.

–

Press the 6 (T/E) key (lit)

With the numbers 10 to 12 a parameter number (the first time 104, thereafter the

last selected) and with the numbers 14 to 16 the corresponding parameter value is

shown.

–

Sewing is not possible.

Example

The hundreds of the parameter number are changed with the P+ or P- keys.

The tens and ones of the parameter number are changed with the S+ or S- keys.

–

The parameter value is changed with the L+ or L- keys.
