8.2 Lubrication
Caution Risk of Injury !
Oil can cause skin rashes.
Avoid longer skin contact.
After contact wash yourself thoroughly.
ATTENTION !
The handling and disposal of mineral oils is subject to
legal constraints.
Deliver used oil to an authorized reception point.
Protect your environment.
Take care not to spill any oil.
For lubrication of this special sewing machine use only
ESSO SP-NK 10
lubricating oil
or an equivalent oil
with following specification:

Viscosity at 40° C : 10 mm

Flash point: 150 °C

Lubrication of the machine head

Check the reservoir 1
weekly
.
The oil level is not to drop below the
"MIN"
marking.
If necessary, fill oil up to the
"MAX"
marking through the drilled hole
in the viewing glass.
Lubrication of the hook
–
Check the reservoir 2
weekly
(not for classes 271-140442, 271-140432, 273-140432).
The oil level is not to drop below the
"MIN"
marking.
If necessary, fill oil up to the
"MAX"
marking.
