2.4.2 Feed-dog height

Caution:Risk ofinjury!

Switch the m ainswitch off.

C heck and adjustthe feed-dog heightonlywiththe sew ing unit

sw itched off.

Standard and checking

W hen the feed-dogs are intheirhighestposition,the teethofthe m ain

feed-dog 4 shouldbe0.8 m m above the top edge ofthe throatplate,

the teethofthe differentialfeed-dog 5 0.9to1.0 m m and the teethof

the auxiliary feed-dog 6 0.6to0.7mm.

Turn the handw heelindire c tion ofrotation untilthe feed-dogs are

intheirhighestposition.

C heck the position ofthe feed-dogs tothe throatplate.

C orrection

–

U nscrew the throatplate.

–

Loosen screw s 1,2 and3alittle.

–

Putthe throatplate on again.

–

Setthe heightofthe feed-dogs.

–

Rem ove the throatplate.

–

Tighten screw s 1,2 and 3.

–

Putthe throatplate on again and tighten.
