2.2.1Distance betw een overlock hook and needle

Caution:Risk ofinjury!

Switch the m ainswitch off.

C heck and adjustthe hook onlywiththe sew ing unitsw itched off.

C ross-line adjustm ent

Standard and checking

Inthe leftreverse pointofthe overlock hook 1 the distance betw een

the m iddleofthe needle and the hook tip should am ountto3.7-

3.9mm.

Movethe overlock hook initsleftreverse pointby handw heel.

–

C heck w hetherthe distance betw een the m iddleofthe needle and

the hook tip am ountsto3.7-3.9mm.

C orrection

–

U nscrew the throatplate,the frontfeed-dog as w ellas the front

and hind needleprotection.

–

Movethe overlock hook initsleftreverse pointby handw heel.

–

Loosen screw 2 and take care thatthe hook abutsonstop 3.

–

Tighten screw 2 again.

–

Loosen screw 4 untilthe hook support5 can justbe turned.

–

Turn the hook supportinsuchawaythatthe distance betw een the

middleofthe needle and the hook tip am ountsto3.7-3.9mm.
