2.1Adjusting the needlebarheight

Caution:Risk ofinjury!

Switch the m ainswitch off.

C heck and adjustthe heightofthe needle baronlywiththe sew ing unit

sw itched off.

Standard and checking

Inthe top dead centre o f the needle barthe distance betw een the

needle point4 and the throatplate should am ountto 10.4 -10.6mm.

Movethe needle barinitstop dead centre .

–

C heck w hetherthe distance betw een needle point4 and throat

plate 5 am ountsto 10.4 -10.6mm.

C orrection

–

U nscrew screw s 1 and rem ove cover 2.

–

Movethe needle barinitstop dead centre .

–

Swivelthe sew ing footout.

–

Loosen screw 3 untilthe needle barcan justbe pushed.

–

Shiftthe needle barinsuchawaythatthe distance betw een

needle point4 and throatplate 5 am ountsto 10.4 -10.6mm.

–

Tighten screw 3.

–

Screw cover2 on again.
