3.4.3 Changing the toothed beltofthe ejector

Caution:Risk ofinjury!

Switch the m ainswitch off.

C hange the toothed beltonlywiththe sew ing unitsw itched off.

Low erthe feeding unitontothe tabletop m anually.

–

Switch the sew ing unitoff.

–

Screw the screw 3 outofthe cylinder2.

–

Loosen screw 4 and release the tension ofthe toothed belt5.

–

Rem ove the toothed beltfirs t fro m the drive rolland then fro m the

feed roller6 ofthe ejector.

–

Fitthe new toothed beltin reverse order.

–

Tension toothed belt5 and tighten screw 4.

Ifthe tension is c o rre c t,itm ustbe possibleto bend the toothed

belt5 inthe m iddle by approx.10 m m w ith sensible counter

pressure.

–

Swivelthe cylinder2 tothe frontagain and screw iton the ejector

with screw 3.
